Away from the internet for the past few days, I come back to this, a flood that has nearly devoured The Philippines. My prayers go to the many who have lost their lives as well as their homes. I remember working at Mervyn's (Department Store) and having many of my customers shopping for their families over in The Philippines. There had been much talk of poverty then, and now as I have come aware of this situation, my heart and prayers go out. . .
