i fell in love.
_yesterday, i ended up at borders to kill time before "knowing" started. i found myself in the photography section looking for various photo books and what not. National Geographic is definitely big on photography, i know you remember the photograph of the Afghan girl. I picked up "Visions of Paradise" (by National Geographic) and automatically felt inspired. The photo above is the first that I ran into and my am I blessed to be able to see this. I don't know if little things such as this capture your attention or inspire you, but I am sure you can tell it has made an affect on me. Now, for you aspiring photographers out there I recommend that you pick up this book and give it a chance. I am sure that you will be just as excited. I also took the time to write down some of the names of photographers who submitted these photos.
National Geographic often hold contests where you can submit a photo that you've taken, so keep an eye out. Maybe one day i'll see your photo ;)
