Alright, let's see. So I work at a department store and I have been working on toys for the part three or four weeks. For some reason I started to take notice to these FisherPrice baby dolls called "Little Mommy" (nurture, love, grow) real living baby; cuddle and coo. These dolls arrived at the store about a month or two ago, but I realized that (ummm) something was creepy about them (haha; no seriously). Every time someone walked by, the doll moved and made noise, and sometimes without walking by it would do the same. I just looked at them as annoying axx baby dolls that were meant to satisfy the needs of a child. HOWEVER, today when I stepped out the back stock there was one baby doll on my cart (making noise), a co-worker and I started talking about how weird and creepy the doll was and as I exit and came to the front of the store where the toys are located, a supervisor told me that the toys were taken off the shelves as "RECALLS". I started to laugh (just because I think the doll is creepy doesn't not mean that I am going to run away screaming bloody murder, I mean shxt it's not real). So she tells me to listen to what the doll says... It spoke gibberish of course, laughed, and then... all i heard was mumbling then "Light". The supervisor told me it says "Islam is the Light"... then I paused ... shook that bxtch again and I heard it. I found it amusing, BUT then I took it upon myself to write down the dolls information and google it. Come to find out people are calling this doll "PRO-ISLAMIC" which i find a bit... racist if you will. I found out that parents are taking this toy very serious and it has caused Controversy. This doll has made the headlines in local newspapers and top stories on the news, as if the damn doll is a terrorist. I don't know, if you ask me people blow things out of proportion. The doll isn't that expensive (take out the batteries), shxt your kid likes it and does not seem to understand what exactly you think your mind is convincing you. Parent's constantly fight to protect their children and that is great, but there is nothing Greater than racism and prejudice. OK, don't buy the shxt for your kid. Next thing you know people will start questioning other Fisherprice toys and then organize a boycott. Fisherprice has sent out a letter explaining that the dolls only words are supposed to be "Mommy", and that the new dolls will be "Corrected"... interesting hmmm....
What if it did say "Islam is the Light" ? & What if it does not? ... the world may never know ... lmfao
