Earthbound Radio -- San Diego, CA (iTunes)

You sometimes ask yourself (& even out-loud) "Who listens to the radio anymore?" ... I can't remember the last time I actually sat down and listened to the radio or rode in a car with the radio playing. Everyone is into mixtapes, new releases, leaks, and albums from a few years back. "Commercial" has come to be quite irritating and sometimes you need a scape-goat. I was introduced to Earthbound radio a few months back by my relatives Piff & Makeshift, and since then i've always made it a point to revisit. If you love HIP HOP this is certainly the place for you. Based out of San Diego, I couldn't be more proud ! haha -- wish i could listen to Earthbound in my whip, i'll find a way. Well before I start rambling on, this is how you get to Earthbound; iTunes > iTunes Radio > Hip Hop/ Rap > Earthbound Radio ( San Diego, Ca) it's simple. They are playing "I Wish" Skee-Lo (95) right now ... man ! Keep it coming Earthbound ! enough hablando, check them out !

THE CLIPSE perform @ On Broadway 6/9 -- NARM

Chatting it up with my boy the other day I come to find out that CLIPSE is going to be in San Diego Tuesday night (6/9). Now if you live in San Diego, you know that there is a possibility that the act might not actually show up, in other words we are usually put on the back-burner (which sucks). But NOT THIS TIME (horraay!) it's official, got the good word and they have confirmed. There is/was a host of other performers, not too many that are well known (by me at-least) however, some that I do know include; Trick Daddy, Joe, and Chico Debarge... I can't remember what's the last album they've dropped but hay it's all love, they've got classics from way back. If you are wondering what the hell NARM is..."NARM (the National Association of Recording Merchandisers) is a not-for-profit trade association that serves the music content delivery community in a variety of areas including networking, advocacy, information, education and promotion." -- if you in the area and are a-part of the music/entertainment industry it would be wise to stick your head in and get in some NETWORKING. Starting to Love and appreciate you more each day...

_Today was a beautiful day in Sunny San Diego, and oh my is it a beautiful night. I'm sure your city was beautiful today as well (if you live in California or in another location where there was blue skies and non-stop sun). I have a love/hate relationship with my city, but for some reason I've actually started to appreciate it a lot more. There are plenty of other cities that i lust, but I love SD. It's my home and always will be. Where I was raised and where i'll be buried (knocks on wood). I've had my share of "I hate San Diego", "I want to move the hell up outta here", "I can't stand San Diego" moments. After all thats said and done, I can truly say I am glad that SD is where I was raised. There are some things that need to be worked on, but everything will be alright.
